Aristotle had it nailed 2,500 years ago in his Nicomachean Ethics. Happiness is not just potential happiness, but rather, it will be over a lifetime. Do not worry if you are not — yet — happy. Do not worry if you were happy, but now are not. Do not worry if you’ve never been happy. Happiness can be yours. Make it active through your work; through your relationships. There are no exclusions to who can be (or become) happy. Life Is Fabulous!
My impatience (and frustration) runs rampant. My belligerence is maddening. My psyche must submit to my providence. There is no course of action for me but to accept my destiny. How about you? Have you been called up? Get ready. Your authentic self is about to emerge. Life Is Fabulous!
Amanda Lucas (daughter of George Lucas, creator of Star Wars) is a cage fighter. She trains at Fairtex in San Francisco. Being a cage fighter and handling life’s challenges are a lot alike. You must train hard, get in the cage, be fully committed, and take the victory. No fear. Life Is Fabulous!
Being ticked off can come from not being fulfilled. Can you recognize this for what it is? Anger. Follow your line of thinking when everything goes off the tracks. You encounter an experience, you get angry, and you are left with an empty feeling. That feeling is alerting you. Pay attention. Pull it apart and figure out how to heal — and or — bring into your life whatever it is that you feel is missing. Your intuition knows. Just listen to it. Life Is Fabulous!
Look around you. Are you seeing the same moments over and over? It is time to move. You must push yourself to grow. To desire. Everyday spent repeating the former day, with no hope of change, deadens you. It wipes out your courage. You begin to shrink. Submit. Retreat. You must move in the direction that feels new and fresh. Exciting. And, overtime — when the newness wears off — move again. Life Is Fabulous!
